Bopha School Of Art Night
Updated: Oct 26, 2022
It seems as though autumn and winter are the seasons for not only pumpkins and fires, but also the Bopha School fundraising missions to start!
Last year we had our mini-art auction, with artworks from founder Bethan Christopher going out to lots of lovely people. We then held our grand Bopha School Mega Raffle, and finished off with the epic Foo Fighterz night, thanks to the brilliant Stuart Woodward and his Isle of Wight crew.
This year we’re swerving from the Bopha School of Rock into Bopha School Of Arts Night, taking place on November 12th at the Ventnor Arts Club. There’ll be a drink on arrival, delicious artistic food by award winning chef Adam Fendyke of the True Food Kitchen and music by talented piano-maestro, Simon Davis.
The night, which will be hosted by Bopha founder Bethan Christopher, ends with an art auction featured original works by prestigious local, national and international artists. We’ve also got a 1 year membership for the Ventnor Arts Club up for grab and signed, limited edition records by the legend that is Jonny Greenwood.
Over the next few days we’ll be publishing some tasty little articles, showcasing some of the generous creatives who’ve donated their time, energy, art and support to the night. They’ll share some info on their work, how they find inspiration and also pass on their best tip/advise for people looking to make art and reignite their creativity.
We only have a few tickets left for the night, so if you’d like to come along, please drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org Or, if you can’t make it, but would like to see the catalogue (we’re offering commission and telephone bids) again, send us a message and we will get a copy to you.
